Aqualux – CF Group at the Journées des Collections in Marseille

Aqualux / CF Group has attended the Journées de Collections in Marseille, in order to promote our brands to major French mass-market retailers.

Chemoform, Planet Pool, EDG, Heissner, Orca, LivePool and even Sandmaster were in !

A unique occasion to introduce to LivePool Web App, which was nominated to the “Buyers’ Prize” (Prix des acheteurs), for its ability to help customers to know if the pool water is OK for swimming, and if not (or not really) how to make it clearer and safer through our chemicals.

Start of a sustainable relationship

Water is the common passion – for the CF Group and for the water polo club SSV Esslingen. Around 15 km from the CF Group headquarters, the SSV Esslingen water polo club, founded in 1908, has its own outdoor pool. With currently around 3,300 members, it is the club with the largest number of members in the city. Sport has been the main focus of the club since its foundation. For example, SSV Esslingen has been one of the best in the country in the sport of water polo for many years and has played in the 1st Bundesliga from the very beginning – currently with 3 teams (men, women and under 18).

We are pleased about the great start of the cooperation and are sure that both sides will benefit from this collaboration. A first exclamation mark has already been set: We were able to provide bubble covers for the 1050m² pool (21x50m) at short notice, so that 40% of the usual energy costs could already be saved in the start-up phase.

Many thanks to all who helped with this short-term project in Tunesia, France and Germany! Once again, this was a prime example of pragmatic and uncomplicated cross-border cooperation and the strength inside the CF Group. Can’t do, doesn’t exist!

On-time delivery thanks to portal

Following the successful pilot phase of the notification portal for the Wendlingen site, other sites have now been successively switched on. Since March, suppliers have been able to book delivery times for the following locations, thus ensuring shorter waiting times for their truck drivers and more efficient unloading:

CF Group acquires Starline

In the continuation of its external growth strategy, CF Group acquires the Dutch company Starline, a leading manufacturer and distributor of polypropylene and composite swimming pools, pool covers and water treatment systems in the Benelux and UK markets.

Founded in 1974, Starline achieved a turnover of 46 M€ in 2021 with a growth rate of more than 130% over the last 5 years. By generating over half of its revenue in the pool cover segment, it offers strong business synergies with CF Group, which will thus strengthen its leadership in this segment and consolidate its position in the Belgian, Dutch and UK markets.

Support for Ukraine

Many peoples and also many of our colleagues are currently indirectly or directly affected by the war in Ukraine. The workforce, with the support of management, has therefore launched a number of initiatives to support our colleagues directly on the ground.

In Wendlingen, donations were made, purchases were made and aid packages were packed, which are on their way to the crisis area together with our regular goods. They will be distributed directly on site.

In Nidderau 1800€ were collected to support Sergej Zakharov, who has been representing dinotec in Ukraine for more than 20 years. His office is located in Kyiv. Due to the war in the Ukraine and a serious health problem he was forced to flee together with his wife from his hometown. A dramatic situation like this is happening unfortunately every day.

We wish all those affected, our partners and friends strength and stamina in this crazy time!

Welcome CF Group Deutschland GmbH

In many countries, the subsidiaries have already taken the step of changing their name to CF Group. In Germany, the time has finally come:

The german subsidiary Waterman GmbH took over the customer service of Chemoform AG in March 2022 and was thus renamed to CF Group Deutschland GmbH as of March 25, 2022.

This step simplifies internal processes and thus ensures even easier and more pleasant order processing as well as ongoing support. The previous contact persons in the office and in the field will continue to be available as usual.

We are making every effort to make this changeover as smooth as possible. However, if not everything runs smoothly during the transformation process, we ask for your understanding and a little patience.

Let’s continue to set the course together for a even more successful future.

Pool Building Days in Sweden

On March 9 and 10 the CF Group Scandinavia invited their customers to the Pool Building Days. About 60 pool builders accepted the invitation and learned a lot during these two days. Supported by colleagues from other CF Group subsidiaries, many products were presented and trained, such as the styrofoam pool with a curved side and overflow, a running system with CF Control 100, a pump, filter, heatpump and a tank with water. The dinner and bar afterwards was also appreciated during the evening and night 😊

Another event that strengthens the customer relationship and transports the great know-how of the CF Group! Congratulations to all organizers and responsible persons.

JDC Garden Trends – Journées des Collections Jardin

Aqualux is at the JdC Garden Trends – the european trade show for gardening, landscaping & outdoor living from the 29.-31. March 2022 in Marseille.
