Workplace safety is a top priority: A fire safety assistant training session recently took place at HEISSNER GmbH’s Lauterbach facility. Led by Matthias Lother from LZ-Brandschutz-Service, the course guided the team through a hands-on curriculum. Fire safety assistants support the fire safety officer during emergencies, assist in building evacuations, and tackle incipient fires in those critical first minutes. To ensure everyone remains confident and ready to act, this training is refreshed regularly.
The session alternated between theory and practice:
An informative day and a valuable update for on-site fire safety, enhancing the ability to react quickly and properly in an emergency—at work and in everyday life

As the CF Group, we were represented at this year’s interbad – the trade fair for pools, spa, sauna, and wellness focusing on the public sector.
At our 120 m² booth, we showcased our offerings alongside with Dr. Nüsken, dinotec, and Balena. This unified appearance impressively demonstrated our combined corporate expertise.
Our highlights:
– CF Group: Professional water care for commercial users and comprehensive wellness offerings around our brands Lacoform and LacoPur.
– Dr. Nüsken: Efficient cleaning and disinfection solutions. A true booth highlight was the intelligent cleaning robot (Pudu CC1) ensuring flawless cleanliness in large wet areas.
– dinotec: Thrilled the audience with the yellow pool controller and its new features.
– Balena: Impressed visitors with deep expertise in professional pond construction.
Following many great discussions and a fantastic team effort, we draw an entirely positive conclusion. A huge thank you to everyone who made this success possible!
CF Group continues its international expansion: In the Maldives, we were represented with our own booth at “Hotel Asia 2026” – the leading B2B trade show for the hospitality and tourism industry in the Indian Ocean. Our CEO Cedrik Mayer-Klenk also accompanied the event in person, got an on-site impression of our presence, and took the opportunity to engage in direct discussions at the booth.
For the region’s numerous luxury resorts, reliable water treatment under tropical conditions is essential. On site, we demonstrated the interplay of modern pool technology in a practical setup:
– Hands-on pool filtration: Using an installed demonstration system, interested visitors and chief engineers could see firsthand how our filtration systems operate inside the plant room.
– Efficient pool cleaning: With our pool robots, we showcased solutions to noticeably reduce manual maintenance efforts across extensive island properties.
Our presence in this demanding market marks another key milestone in expanding CF Group’s international reach and actively driving our growth beyond our European core markets.
With the new channel, Dr. Nüsken wants to present itself from a slightly more personal side. They invite everyone to check it out with the following words:

Through this channel, they want to make their daily work more visible, provide exciting insights into their projects, and showcase the people who make up Dr. Nüsken.

On Friday, September 11th, a get-together took place at Starline in Valkenswaard to toast three special work anniversaries. Following a brief speech of thanks by Jérôme Abbé (Managing Director of CF Group Netherlands), the jubilarians were honored for their 25 years of service: In the corresponding group photo, the three of them can be seen holding their gifts – starting with Davy, followed by Guy and Ruddy side by side on the right side.
Davy Bertho – 25 years with the company
In April 2001, Davy started at Starline as a production employee. In his early years, he experienced several relocations of our locations. Meanwhile, Davy has been working for many years at our production site on Siberiëstraat in Pelt (Belgium).
Guy Mennen – 25 years of dedication
Guy has been working at Starline since January 2001. He began back then at Poolquip in Valkenswaard as a junior sales representative. Following various positions in sales, Guy is now active at our location in Pelt (Belgium), where he works as Senior Sales Inside Sales for Roldeck.
Ruddy Thijs – 25 years of service
Ruddy also looks back on 25 years with Starline. He started in June 2001 as a swimming pool fitter in Pelt (Belgium). April 30th was his last working day at Starline, and in the meantime, Ruddy is enjoying his retirement to the fullest. A wonderful conclusion to 25 years at Starline!
Davy, Ruddy, and Guy are three colleagues with enormous product knowledge and vast experience. They are colleagues whom we have always been able to rely on over the years and who have made a significant contribution to Starline/Roldeck. To all three of you: Thank you very much for your long-standing dedication, your commitment, and your expertise!

With “My Story within the CF Group” we introduce the people behind our success. Today, we get to know Patrizia Ruhl, who has been part of our company history since August 1, 1980.
Her career began at HEISSNER with an apprenticeship in ceramics. Following continuous professional development and a successful transition into the office world, she now works as a Purchasing Clerk at CF Group Deutschland GmbH in Lauterbach. There, she is responsible for purchasing, the disposition of product ranges, and the coordination of external service providers.
Patrizia is particularly proud of her successful career transition. In her work, she values the variety of tasks, the ability to work independently, and taking on responsibility.
In her free time, she is active in a marching band and fitness studio, enjoys traveling the world and discovering new things, loves reading and DIY projects, or spends time with friends.
What Patrizia appreciates most about our company, alongside the variety of tasks and products, are the people who enrich her daily work life. In particular, working with dedicated, reliable, and helpful colleagues forms an important part of her long time spent together with the company.
Since her start, Patrizia has accompanied numerous changes and, with her experience, commitment, and positive nature, is a tremendous asset to our company family. We are proud to have her on our team and look forward to many more years together!
From August 11 to 14, Georges Le Roy (Export Director) and Eduardo Tanello (Managing Director of CF Group Portugal) represented the group at EXPOLAZER in São Paulo – the leading trade fair for the swimming pool industry in South America.
This premiere marks a milestone in our international strategy: we aim to expand our presence in this high-growth market, build new partnerships, and support the regional growth of our customers.
At the booth, CF Group presented a comprehensive portfolio:
Coverings: DEL automatic pool covers (incl. PURE, Tixit, and Rolleasy 2), PVC slats (69 and 84 mm), transparent and opaque polycarbonate slats, and Alveolar bubble covers.
Complementary solutions: CF Coverkit safety covers and the reinforced Delifol membrane.
The successful premiere in São Paulo provides us with an excellent basis to actively and sustainably drive our expansion in South America.
