Fire safety helper training

At the end of 2022, two fire safety helper trainings with 40 employees in total were made at the headquarter in Wendlingen.

The participants were from all four plants. The training consisted of a 3-hour theory part, a one-hour practical part and an online exam. All participants passed and Chemoform AG is richer by 40 fire protection assistants.

First and foremost, this is to increase the operational safety of our company. In most cases, a fire in the company can be fought with fire extinguishers before the fire department arrives.

Going forward with double power

At the Pia site (66) of CF Group France, two new high frequency Liner assembly machines were installed. They are from the latest generation. This is a next step to further develop our liner production.

Let me introduce: Warnow Liner

In order to get to know each other better and better within the CF Group, we would like to introduce different companies of the CF group from time to time.

Round #4: Warnoe Liner, German

Since 1990 Warnow Liner has been manufacturing swimming pool liners, covers and many other liner products in the heart of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. From the selection of raw materials to the manufacturing process, attention is paid to the highest quality at all times – simply real handwork “made in Germany” and know-how for over 30 years.

We are grateful to have such specialists in our group since 2019.

CF Group France is committed 🌍

On the Brécé site (35), we have installed summer/winter locks in order to use the calories generated by the compressors to heat the workshops, and avoid overconsumption!

This is another small puzzle piece in our CSR / ESG strategy.

Sales Seminar 2022 – Specialist market France

The entire sales team met in La Rochelle from October 17 to 19 to prepare for the 2023 season. The seminar, under the Charente sun, took place at the magnificent La Rochelle Aquarium, with a breathtaking view of the ocean floor from the auditorium, before giving way to the presentations.

Sébastien Guillot and Jérôme Abbé introduced the seminar with the 2023 outlook, followed by presentations from the support services (product marketing, customer marketing, communication, training, technical service….), with Christophe Cadu taking over for the French business.

Purchasing meeting in Wendlingen

In November, trade buyers from all over Europe met in Wendlingen. They analysed the group’s overstocks and determined further steps.

The main common suppliers were discussed and assigned to buyers in charge. To move group purchasing forward, monthly coordination meetings will be held between the cross-country buyers.

“Take off” with the CF Group

Young people interested in a profession were able to find out about a wide range of opportunities for training and further education between 13.10.2022 and 14.10.2022 under the annual motto “Durchstarter” in the Nürtingen Stadthalle. With over 85 exhibitors, the education fair offers companies the opportunity to present themselves to a large target audience in their presence as a modern employer and training company in the region. Local education partners and over 800 students from 38 classes took advantage of this opportunity for a first contact with the professional world.

We are very proud to have an ambitious part of this responsible task for the future generation! In addition to the business operations and the various products of the CF Group, the visitors were able to receive extensive information about our exciting apprenticeships for the year 2023:
