Spoga+Gafa 2024 – Recap

Once again CF Group reaffirms its position as a trailblazer in the retail sector, making a significant impact at Spoga+Gafa 2024 under the guiding theme of “Responsible Gardens“.

Our 100 sqm display was a testament to innovation, brimming with novel products and fresh concepts, all aligned with our commitment to sustainable living. This year, we focused on bringing the concept of responsible gardens to life, ensuring that sustainable pools and ponds are achievable for everyone.

The response from our customers and visitors has been fantastic, with widespread acclaim for our new product line.

We extend our deepest gratitude to our booth team, who embodied the CF Group’s philosophy and mission, and brilliantly conveyed the importance of responsible gardening to all our guests.

empower legal and compliance

We’re happy to announce, that we were able to find personnel reinforcement in the legal and compliance department. Let’s welcome Dr. Michael Görike (LL.M) and Yvonne Stehling.

After studying law (1st and 2nd state exams) and a subsequent master’s degree (LL.M.) in South Africa, Dr. Michael Görike worked as a lawyer in Hamburg for nine years, during which time he also completed his doctorate. He has been in Stuttgart for a few years now, where he headed the legal department of a group of companies and most recently worked for another international company in Stuttgart, where he advised on various corporate transactions. He specialized in commercial law, in particular corporate law and M&A, financing and contract drafting.

Yvonne Stehling studied business law after she completed her vocational training as a paralegal. She gained experince and in-depth knowledge in the support of sales teams, in contract management and in law firms.

We wish them both a good start!

Tradition in der region

Through an apprenticeship project initiated by Mr. Fischer (Head of Logistics at CF Group Deutschland), the apprentices in Wendlingen and Köngen ran a booth at the local folk festival, the Pfingstmarkt in Köngen, on 20.05.24. It is one of the oldest and largest festivals of its kind in southern Germany and attracts around 100,000 visitors every year.

The main focus of the project was to spread the name CF Group more in the local area. In the preparation the apprentices met every Friday for a meeting for two hours to take care of the project. Roles and tasks were assigned, and each apprentice contributed and advanced the project with their own thoughts. Supported by some colleagues they learned a lot about chemistry and pool construction and expanded their professional knowledge.

The Pfingstmarkt was a success. Many peoples were interested and visited the booth. Flyers went away like hot cakes and sales were made of course. It was a nice project for the apprentices which also had the consequence that our customers heard about our shop in the HQ for the first time.

CF GROUP SPIRIT: WORK HARD HAVE FUN!

It’s a demanding season, and our customers expect a lot from us; this year we’re going to give them even more! One of the traditions of some of the Group’s companies/teammates was to celebrate summer (and especially the peak season of our business) during a day in the middle of summer.

This year, it’s Friday, July 12!

The idea is to have fun while working!

How: each employee must dress in a suit containing blue (CF Group’s color) or pink (the color of fun), bearing in mind that any and all fantasies are accepted: disguises, mismatched clothing, clothes that are too big or too small, and so on. Whatever you want, as long as it’s in blue and pink!
In return, we’ll be asking you for photos/videos of you and your teams (send them to ic@cf.group). We will be communicating widely with our social network audiences to determine the winning teams in this challenge! So it’s up to the public to choose CF Group’s most fun team!

Customer guidance, even without a specialist

In the new issue of DIY, the german trade magazine for the do-it-yourself sector, Heissner presents its newly designed marketing concept for DIY and garden centers. The focus: inspiration and customer guidance.

It aims to guide customers without specialist advisors through clear customer guidance and an emotional appeal. Important elements include printed header panels with application examples, info stoppers with QR codes for further information and an omnichannel approach. Sustainability and solar energy are particularly emphasized in the product range.

SPOGA+GAFA 2024, here we go

From June 16 to 18, 2024, the CF Group Deutschland will again present interesting innovations and sustainable solutions at SPOGA+GAFA. The world’s largest garden and BBQ trade fair is once again inviting numerous exhibitors and visitors to Cologne. With 1850 exhibitors from 58 countries, a new record has already been set in 2023 and will be broken again this year.

This year’s guiding theme “Responsible Gardens” fits perfectly with our innovative and sustainable solutions. We wish the entire CF Group team a successful appearance!

Let’s Swim & Run

On September 7, the 4th Esslingen Kaufland Insel – Swim & Run will take place. The event is organized by our cooperation partner SSV Esslingen e.V. and the triathletes from Nonplusultra Esslingen e.V.

There are different classes depending on gender, age and fitness level. The CF Group Deutschland would like to take part in this great event with a relay team this year.
